A Saudi woman demands that her spouse marry her two friends as well.
Marrying more than one woman at the same time… it’s the dream of many men.
A Saudi woman, who worked as a teacher recently shocked her spouse following his proposal. As a condition to her acceptance, she demanded that that her man must also marry her two friends at the same time.
The groom-to-be was said to be very surprised by the request, but after some persuasion from relatives, he decided to accept the offer. The man reportedly rented three apartments in the same structure and housed all three of his new brides in her own residence.
Polygamy is permitted in Saudi Arabia, allowing a man to keep up to four wives, but he must be able to treat them all the same in regards to the physical and emotional aspects.
Last year, a notary in Sao Paulo sparked a fierce debate after she accepted a 'civil union' between three people. According to BBC, the trio consisted of one man and two women who had been together for several years, residing in Rio de Janeiro and splitting bills.
