A company makes bulletproof clothing for kids.

A maker of bulletproof fashion has released a line of body armor for kids. The pint-sized options include backpacks, puffer vests, and t-shirts.

The Colombian company headed by designer Miguel Caballero historically outfits politicians, celebrities, and other high-profile, at risk individuals.

They’ve added children’s sizes to their line-up in response to the number of mass shootings at US schools.

Amendment 2, a body armor company based in Salt Lake City has also launched a children’s line and reported that sales tripled following the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy.

Among their popular merchandise is a trio of backpacks with armor built in, designed to appeal to kids of many ages. They have plain black for teens and Avengers and Disney Princess for the little ones.

The backpacks sell for about 300 dollars. Or for around 200 dollars, concerned parents can purchase an armor insert to use in a regular backpack.

What do you think? Should kids wear bulletproof outfits?
