Bechstein celebrates their 160-year anniversary with stunning piano.

Germany’s iconic and historic piano maker, C. Bechstein is celebrating an anniversary in unbeatable style.

After 160 years in the business, the company is unveiling a Golden Grand Piano. The exterior of the piano features intricate woodcarving, rich gold leaf, and miniature historical paintings that circle the acoustical piece.

While the piano gleams effortlessly as a piece of décor, the inner makings are fit for a talented musician, as the company boasts the CB B 212 model. The instrument took three years to finally complete, with the help of Bechstein’s master craftsmen.

Precious woods were hand selected and then slowly cured and shaped. The ornaments were carved from solid walnut and finished in gold leaf while special recipes for lacquer were applied one layer at a time to complete the hand paintings.
Recently another piano received attention. The Crystal Music Company unveiled an acrylic see-through grand piano.

The chosen material made the instrument entirely see-through.
