Scare Graphics | Real Sci-Fi Eye Digital Painting

I wanted to have something that was real to use as a reference to practice color blending and textures. I decided to take some random pictures and of which I took a close up picture of my wife’s eye using a macro lens on my digital camera. After I was reviewing the shots I realized how cool it really looked! The macro lens allows me to take photos as close as 1 mm away from my subject matter, of which when I took the photo of my wife’s eye it made the photo look like she had almost a double pupil. It was really neat because her eye had reflected the macro lens and it near the bottom of her pupil was an almost round addition to it which was the lens itself. So, I painted the eye, and it looks almost alien and it’s a real photo with a strange reflection.
