The recovery period takes up to several weeks and the patient is required to wear a compression garment in order to help the healing tissue. After a week, the patient may go back to regular physical activity. And the results will be fully apparent after six weeks or so. Since it is a fairly simple and fast procedure, most patients have achieved success and were able to look the way they wanted to look.
