French family in video appeal to al-Qaeda captors

The brother of a French hostage, snatched in Niger more than two years ago, has made a video appealing directly to the kidnappers.
Clément Legrand posted the recording on a website that had published a video of the detainees in September.
He urged Al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb to open meaningful negotiations on the hostages' release.
