00:11What a real life privilege this is for me to welcome the Prime Minister of Canada,
00:17Mark Carney, here this evening.
00:19We share so much, Mark, we have a few Liverpool connections,
00:23Ireland connections, but of course Everton connections
00:27and it's going to be a special occasion for me being here tonight
00:31and I have a very personal reason to be here as well,
00:35a tribute to my dad a little later.
00:39But Mark, I'm sure I speak for a lot of people in saying
00:43you're a great progressive leader with whom we share so many values,
00:49but also with whom we have a shared opportunity on defence, cooperation, on trade
00:55and there's been positive developments in that direction recently
00:58between the UK and Canada on AI, which I'm sure we'll discuss.
