As most of you know , Kaleigh has fought every single day of her short 7 and a half years. She has had many, many obstacles that stood in her way , and the odds have always been against her. But she always comes out swinging. She has shown us how to be strong. When there seems to be no more hope , she just keeps going. She is an unbelievable child who we have all learned so much from. This year alone has to be one of the worst that she has had , hands down. She has had so many negative hospitalizations , in such a short time , and all of them had an effect on her. She was starting to lose confidence in her self , and was starting to become very angry with her situation , and seeing at this young age that life really isn’t fair.
So just in the nick of time , the child-life specialist at The Hospital for Sick Children came to the rescue. During one of her admissions Kaleigh was given tickets to attend a Justin Bieber concert. She couldn’t believe it.
The time finally came , and we caught every moment of her experience on tape. She was even given the opportunity to get all dolled up for the concert , thanks to our generous friends who gave her a glamour package! It made her feel like a superstar, an showed her how important and BEAUTIFUL she really is.
This day will be a memory she will have for the rest of her life!
