Nostalgia’ is all about my memories of her, who may have gone from my life but has never gone from my memory. It reveals the romantic side of me that I didn’t know existed before.
In the short span of time that we are in this world, we meet people and we depart. Some are erased from our memory with time while some we vaguely remember in our later years. But there are some who make such an indelible mark in our lives that we remember them clearly even after years of not seeing them. The paintings showcased in this exhibition are an expression of my nostalgia of those days when I was with her, and I was in love. She is forever etched in my mind, and even after all these years I still remember her as I had seen her all those years ago.
An apt name for the theme, ‘Nostalgia’ brings forth my deep memories through these colourful paintings. My creativity has moulded the moments I had spent with her in a way that they look beautiful. Through this exhibition, I celebrate the feeling of being touched by someone in so deep a level that the memory
