The South Carolina Gamecocks will hit the highway for a week thirteen NCAA college football game against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday night. Kick off time from Clemson is scheduled for 7PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

South Carolina has won three straight. They improve to 9-2 on the year after defeated small college Wofford 24-7 last week as a -30 ½ point betting favorite. It was 7-7 after three quarters and the Gamecocks outscore Wofford 17-0 in the fourth quarter in the win. The Gamecocks gained 293 yards of offense with 171 rushing for just over four yards per rush. South Carolina allows the Wofford offense 330 yards with 259 from their run game for less than 4 ½ yards per rush. South Carolina has had trouble in their two step up games with a close loss at LSU and a 33 point loss at Florida.
Clemson has won seven straight games. They improve to 10-1 this season following a 62-48 win last week against the North Carolina St Wolfpack as a -15 point home favorite. The game flew over the total of 65 ½ points. The Tigers offense was able to put up 754 yards with 328 running the football for over 5 ½ yards a carry. Each team committed two turnovers. Quarterback Tajh Boyd completed 30 of 44 passes for 426 yards with five touchdowns and two picks. Boyd has 33 touchdowns passes and 11 picks. Clemson allowed North Carolina St offense to produce 597 yards with 104 coming from their run attack for 3 yards per rush. The Tigers are an explosive offense in the top six in offensive yards at 535 yards a game and points scored at 44 a game. Their lone loss came at Florida St by the score of 49-37. The ACC is not strong this season other than Florida St and Clemson. Can’t say the Tigers any notable wins this season.
