"TURNING OFF the FAUCET" (Original poem)

When you have turned your back on
the love that dwells in your heart and
the faucet of your tears won't go off,
continue wiping your face. When the
love you've known for so long won't love
you anymore, continue wiping your face.
When your calls are no longer answered
though you know you're dialing the right
number, continue wiping your face. If the
love you once knew comes back to you
and love begins too make sense again,
cover your heart and live according to
your new understanding!
