Indonesian media broadcasts footage from a crime scene where an elite police squad arrested five militants and killed one in a gunfight on Wednesday.
Police raided the house in central Sulawesi Province, finding 10 pieces of homemade bombs and a gun.
On Sunday, police arrested 11 suspected Islamist militants they said planned to attack the U.S. embassy and a plaza near Australia's embassy.
The predominantly-Muslim country has been largely successful in containing militant attacks.
There have been no large-scale attacks on Western targets since 2009, when suicide bombers blew themselves up in two Jakarta hotels, killing nine people and wounding 53.
