STD Themed Cupcakes Debut

STD decorated cupcakes showcased in an effort to promote safe sex.

An unusual range of cupcakes are up for grabs. The STD-themed treats feature scabs, boils, green-colored genital discharge and warts.

The cringe-worthy deliciousness will be sold in a pop-up shop at London's St Bart's Pathology Museum with one goal in mind: to promote safe sex.

There’s a herpes and syphilis decorated cupcake, but the scary cakes will not be labeled with the corresponding disease.

The public relations official behind the treats stated "It's like having unprotected sex with a stranger. You never know what you'll get!"

Another creative cake recently gained quite a bit of attention. Dubbed, the Slice Skin cake, by designer Gillian Bell, it looks like skin that has been cut and stitched back together.

The cake is quite simply a complex confectionary piece of art. While the stitching is an obvious detail, you can also see deep bruising, discolorations, dried blood and scabs along the incisions.

Gillian says of her designs they "have a hint of the grotesque".
