Golden Dawn MP Ilias Kasidiaris achieved nationwide notoriety when he attacked two other members of Parliament – emptying a glass of water on Rena Dourou, an MP for SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left), and struck Liana Kanneli, an MP for KKE (Greek Communist Party), in the face, while on a panel discussion on live TV. He was not arrested.
