Sperm Bank Plans to Offer Celebrity Surrogate Dads

A new website hopes to connect women with anonymous celebrity sperm donors.

In the near future, a sperm bank plans to offer “top quality celebrity surrogate fathers”.

Ladies can expect to shell out about $25,000 for the high-end sperm service. They can choose their male of choice based on talent and achievements, however the identities of the chosen men will not be released. In other words, the men remain completely anonymous to the mothers.

The company, dubbed Fame Daddy is slated to launch in February, 2013 and a company contact claims to already have a list of possible donors who have shown interest. The website states “Parents always want to give their children the best start in life, and what better than a genetic boost from a proven winner.”

However there is still some work to do. No actual sperm samples exist yet despite the website listing several profiles including an Oscar-winning actor and a former professional football player. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority has not given an approval either, but the company is hoping to gain the public’s interest along with male celebrities.

How do you like the idea?
