There are no safeguards for little children in the elevators at the base of Yorkdale's new food court, in Toronto Canada. Their tiny hands easily slide between the doors and become trapped.
I tried to cease it several times, yet Yorkdale Shopping Center has been aware that from Aug to Oct 2012, their elevators have trapped up to seven children in the doors. They have done nothing to correct it.
They threatened to fire me, and tried to force me to sign a document to place me in a situation where I would not be able to aid these people at all, as I was the only witness that would speak up.
