The first Adrenaline of the fall season is heading north of the border, as Adrenaline comes from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The future is indeed now. With his job hanging in the balance, Brent Harvanator scored a second straight win over "The Franchise" Aaron Alexander and became the new CCL World Heavyweight Champion. Because of a clause in all of the champions' contracts, champions that lost at Supernova are not entitled to an automatic rematch. That means not only Aaron will have to work his way back up, there will likely be a long line of challengers looking to pull the plug on "The Future". What's next for the new champion, and the former one?

That Supernova champions clause also means no rematch for the Sisters of Smash, as Christie Monteiro and Wonder Woman won the women's tag team titles from the team that beat them two months ago. However, one member of the SoS can't mourn that loss forever: Samus will be taking on Black Widow, who is more than capable of pulling an upset (just ask Samus—she lost to her in the 2011 March Madness tournament). Can the former Womens Champion get back on track?

One person certainly not happy about Supernova is "The Real" Gregory Black, who defeated Sherman Samson and Suspect, but was beaten by Smokey in under a minute. In a post-show interview, Smokey issued a challenge to Black, feeling that he should be the first challenger to Brent's world title. Will "The Reality" accept?

As announced at Supernova, the CCL will join the US-DOJO for an interpromotional event in Japan called "Otherland" in late October. Already announced for the event will be the seven-foot weapon of mass destruction Armageddon taking on the legendary Great Muta. Speculation is that at least one other match for the event will be announced.

All this and more on the next episode of Adrenaline.
