Suu Kyi meets Obama in the Oval Office

Myanmar pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi arrives at the White House for a meeting with the U.S. president.
Suu Kyi met Barack Obama for private talks in the Oval Office - a setting usually reserved for visiting heads of state.
The meeting was kept low-key so as to not upset the Myanmar government.
It was the first time the Nobel Peace Prize winners had met.
Earlier, Suu Kyi was awarded the highest civilian honour for her long fight for democracy.
She was presented the Congressional Gold Medal at a ceremony inside the U.S. Capitol building.
