They are known as 'Colour Revolutions'. Mass street protests in post-Communist states, which led to regime change in a number of countries. These events were hailed as a triumph of democracy. But is it a striving for democracy which drove the coloured revolutionaries? We spoke to the co-authors of the latest research into the subject, Natalya Narochnitskaya and John Laughland, in an attempt to discover the truth.
