While the longstanding predictions of robots overtaking the world have yet to come true, robots are increasingly becoming accessible and an integral part of our world.

A new massive robot was unveiled at the Wonder festival in Tokyo.

Kuratas seems like something you may only see in sci-fi movies. But this 13-feet high, over $1-$1.5 million robot is certainly real and impressive. So how do you control it? Kuratas can listen to your through an iPhone or if you want to get closer, you can climb into a cockpit and control its movements. Designed by Suidobashi Heavy Industry - it is not meant to be used as a hardcore weapon. It can fire some ecofriendly weapons and the creators also envision its usage in firefighting.

Another interesting concept is the Kissenger - a product that aims to simulate a real kiss even if you and your partner are not together in a physical space.
As its designer describes - 'With the aid of digital communication media and advanced robotic technology, the system takes the form of an artificial mouth that provides the convincing properties of the real kiss."
