Sur la fin de cette vidéo de Rhapsody, on voit la saisie du couard de la pouliche. Pendant les premiers jours de vie des poulains, et tant qu'ils ne sont pas encore très habitués à être manipulés, les éleveurs doivent attraper le couard d'une part, et sous le poitrail d'autre part. De cette manière, le poulain s'immobilise et les éleveurs peuvent lui prodiguer les soins nécessaires.
Rhapsody de Lukos est née chez nous en 2010. Elle est ici au box avec sa mère, Ellela, pendant ses premiers jours. Cette adorable pouliche a très vite été vers nous et s'est laissée manipuler avec une facilité incroyable.

At the end of this video showing our 2010 foal, Rhapsody de Lukos, you can see the horse breeder grabbing the basis of the foal tail; during the first few days of life of foals, since they are not so used to be touched by people yet, the horse breeders have to catch the foal by holding the basis of the tail in one hand, and put the other one against the chest. By this way, the foal stops moving and you can give them all the medical care required.
Rhapsody de Lukos was born at our house in 2010. She is here in the stable with her mother, Ellela, a few days after she was born. This adorable baby horse has come towards us pretty quick, and let herself being touched very easily.
