The Legend of Zelda: Threads of Fate

A generation after the sealing of Ganon, Hyrule is in chaos. The people are divided. The Royal Family rules over the Eldin and Faron provinces while the Dark Rebirth, Ganon's followers, have control of most of the Lanayru province. After Ganon was sealed away, the Dark Rebirth began executing terrorist attacks and raids on villages. The once peaceful Kakariko Village was destroyed and burnt to ashes. Now, a large, lavish forest stands in it's place.
Link, a knight of Hyrule, resides in the Kakariko Forest. After the death of his parents, Link was left to live on his own. During his days off from protecting the people of Hyrule, Link hunts for his food and for trading purposes. He's poor but loved. The people of Kakariko offer him money and food but he is too noble to accept their offers.
Zelda, the princess of Hyrule, has been best friends with Link for the past 10 years of her life. She met him during a relief trip to Kakariko. She went there with her father to help raise the spirits of the poor people of Kakariko. She ran off to play and found Link. They became instant friends and have been close ever since. Today, the Princess is coming to Kakariko again, but this time for a different purpose.
During this day, Link will be faced with something that he once thought to be impossible. The events ahead of him will tie his thread to a fate greater than life itself.
