CGRundertow A BOY AND HIS BLOB for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of A Boy and his Blob from WayForward Technologies and Majesco for the Nintendo Wii. A revival of an NES game nearly 20 years its senior, A Boy and his Blob is a puzzle-platformer that owes as much to Portal as Super Mario. Playing as a small boy with a gelatinous companion, you move through levels that, like Portal, are basically large puzzles. Since the boy's abilities are understandably limited, solving those puzzles depends mostly on the blob. Armed only with a variety of transformative jellybeans, you have to feed the blob an appropriate jellybean to get through a given situation. This video review features video gameplay footage of A Boy and his Blob for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
