According to Los Angeles Times, a popular and possibly haunted Hollywood film location is in the works to be renovated, making way for low income housing for senior citizens. Linda Vista, the former Los Angeles area hospital has been closed for almost 20 years, but there has been a variety of film production taking place on its grounds including a ghost hunting reality show. Many refer to Linda Vista as the most haunted place in Los Angeles.

After a 40 million dollar renovation and conversion, the building, known for its creepy and haunting aesthetic will be transformed in attractive condos for senior citizens.

There are many other places where ghosts and paranormal activity have been reported.

A mental hospital in Louisville, Kentucky had been the site of another renovation in a supposedly haunted building. According to WDRB, the owner planned to remodel the building into a hotel, spa and nightclub, but the infamous fourth floor was to be off limits for guests, except those interested in conducting research into the paranormal.
