Four days after bombs ripped through two hotels in the Indonesian capital, authorities in Jakarta are looking to former operatives of Jemaah Islamiyah for answers.

Nine people were killed in the blasts that came as a potent reminder to Indonesians that violence against civilian targets is never far away.
