CGRundertow BEETLEJUICE for NES Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Beetlejuice for the NES, developed by Rare and published by LJN. Based on the 1988 hit movie directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, and Alec Baldwin, the 8-bit Beetlejuice doesn't really compare to the quality of the original film. You play as the "ghost with the most" with a mission to scare away the Deetz family from the Maitland's country home. For some reason this involves lots of jumping on clouds and stomping on little beetles for money. With that money you can buy scare tactics to transform into various scary things, but the true terror in Beetlejuice in the horrible gameplay. This review features Beetlejuice gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
