The Magnavox Odyssey 2 was Maggie's entrance into the American video game market already dominated by Atari 2600 in 1978. In Europe it was known as the Philips Videopac G7000 and in Brazil it was called the Philips Odyssey. The original Magnavox Odyssey 1 was released in North America in 1970. CGRHD bought an O2 on ebay and this is the first time we unpacked the unit and turned it on. Will it work????? The tension builds as the joystick controller is untangled, the power cord plugged in and the world waits, with baited breath, for the power button to be pressed in sending a stream of current through the Magnavox Odyssey 2 sending us all on an odyssey of classic arcade video gaming!!!! Travelling through time and space has never been so much fun. This is old school retro antique collectible video gaming at its finest.
