South Africa launches TB test for gold miners

South Africa has the third highest rate of tuberculosis in the world, after India and China. Pulmonary TB is the most common type, causing sufferers to cough up blood and lose weight. To mark World TB Day, ministers, mining companies and NGOs are launcing a widespread testing program, to diagnose and treat tuberculosis among South African gold miners. Duration: 01:41
