Vortex Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRUndertow review of Vortex, developed by Argonaut Software and published by Electro Brain for the SNES. One of the few games ever produced with the Super FX GSU-1 chip that enabled polygonal 3D graphics (the same chip used for Star Fox), Vortex puts you in control of a multi-purpose mecha made for land, air, space, and water combat. Clunky controls and difficult gameplay probably overshadow the visual prowess of this 3D shooter.
