FIXED IN AN AFTERNOON!! Because I needed $863 worth of brake work done, maybe I'm not as apt to complain about these guys at Just Brakes in Albuquerque. The service was fast. Written estimates were accurate. The mechanic showed me exactly what was wrong (I had a guy friend with me who confirmed it) and I was really happy with the quality of work. I received new discs (too worn and rusted to repair), new brakes, and rebuilt calipers, basically and entirely new brake system with a good warranty. $800 is pretty standard, I think, for that kind of work and to be turned around in an afternoon. Yes, it was expensive. But my brakes were dead and I didn't want to be next, so I wasn't complaining.
