The nets were distributed in 15-20 villages around Bandafassi in the Kedougou health district. Recipients were principally pregnant women and mothers with children under 5.
This is a high risk malaria area. All the villages lack health care resources and access to curative measures for malaria is very difficult meaning prevention of malaria is so important here.
