Twin polar bear cubs brought cheer to visitors on the first day of New Year. Even the cold weather didn't prevent visitors from checking out the two-month old bears.

Twin polar bear cubs met visitors for the first time on New Year's Day at an aquarium in China's Liaoning Province.

Although the weather was cold, visitors had a good time with the bears.

According to the feeders at the Laohutan Pole Aquarium, the two polar bear cubs are now growing well and will soon be able to walk on their own.

The twins, born two months ago, are the second set of cubs delivered by the polar bear parents from Finland.

As folk emissaries of friendship between China and Finland, the adult polar bears were presented by the Finland National Park in 2001 and transferred to the Dalian Laohutan Pole Aquarium.

Experts say it is rare for female polar bears to give birth to two sets of twins in the same year, which have all survived.
