The initial investigation was conducted and controlled by BALI Police chief: I Made Pastika. The results of forensics over the first two weeks revealed chlorate residues, TNT residues, RDX residues, C4 residues, Napalm residues, in fact almost every kind of explosive was reported in the first few weeks.
There was even a mystery "confession" from Didi Mushrukin. A retired Indonesian Air Force Colonel who went to Bali Police and confessed in tears to being responsible for the blasts and ultimately for the deaths.
Just as suddenly as that report appeared... It also disappeared.
There was so much information leaking out to the media and incriminating evidence being found of Indo Police involvement and collusion, I Made Pastika called his old buddies where he was trained at the Australian Federal Police to move in and take over to sanitise the official version and clean the area of any anomolous reporting, as had been the case under his watch.
