See the image at the start which segments the keyboard into zones containing 7 half-tones, starting with note DO. Each key becomes the starting note of a segment (a half-scale) according to its position in the suite of no
tes separated by 7 half-tones. The upper line contains the notes of interval 7 colored rose and mauve.
The 12 scales are then played, broken into 2 half-scales each. The 2nd segment is repeated as the 1st segment of the following scale, completed by adding a 3rd segment. This last segment is repeated as the first segment of the following scale, completed by segment 4. And so on until Do is reached again, 12 scales later.
