Halloween Costume Ideas - Fairy Gone Bad - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Hi, I am Robin Charin, and I am the owner of R.T. Clown. Our first outfit for Halloween, our first scary outfit, is worn by the lovely Liz. You can call this either “Victorian Death Fairy,” “Fairy Gone Bad,” how about “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.” Now, what she is wearing is a cape, if you want to show off the cape, which has layers. This is something anybody can put together at home, or, you know, the Goodwill store. You do not have to spend a lot of money on this stuff, if you look. The cape I happened to pick up at a show, but you can get it almost anywhere, something similar. The costume is literally a fairy costume, again, easily available at any of the chain stores. But we made it look scary. She is wearing black tights, also, and the ever-present combat boots, that is a nice little touch. We just happened to put a black hat on her, but you could wear a bandana, you could possibly put other feathers in the hat. As far as her make-up is concerned, we simply just put some eyeliner on her eyes, and, very important at Halloween, really red lipstick on the females. And this outfit is not that scary, so if she was going to an adult party, it would be fine, but if she was entertaining kids, the kids would not be screaming away in horror.
