In China's Guizhou province, drivers rev up their engines for rally racing on a famous mountain road. The tough track not only goes uphill, but has 24 sharp bends too.

On Wednesday in Qinglong County, Guizhou Province, more than 20 racers from China and abroad gathered at the famous Stilwell Road for a rally race.

The mountainous track is nicknamed the "24-zig" road for its 24 sharp zigzags and tricky terrain. It covers a total of four kilometers with an elevation increase of 250 meters from start to finish.

A racer from Iran had his first rally-racing experience on the 24-zig track.

"This is my first trip to "24-zig" road, which has decades of history and many stories from different cultures. I am happy to participate in the race here."

Numerous spectators gathered to see the race. Since 2005, several races have been hosted on the bend-ridden mountain road.
