Straight Talk will have an Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Precedent available in September. This will allow then to compete head to head with the market leaders in smartphones. At $150 for the phone and $45 a month for unlimited operation, they will be the leaders in the coming price war. This is not the time to sign a 2 year contract for soon to be outdated technology.
