Hiroshima survivor Koko Tanimoto Kondo discusses her experiences on August 6, 1945.

Koko's parents were a primary subject of John Hershey's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, "Hiroshima." Hershey's work was recently adjudged the single most important piece of 20th century journalism by a 36-member panel under the aegis of New York University's journalism department.
