Live Below the Line New Zealand - Director's Cut

This is one of those projects where even if the money's not great [it was in that case, totally non existent], you can have a blast while doing it. And I'm not even talking about the bonus karma points you get from doing something for a charity to raise awareness for extreme poverty. The cool thing was about finding playful ways to have more than just a guy talking in front of a camera about the terrible conditions some people are living in.
We wanted to always have something happening to keep the viewer interested.
And when it came to the design, we kept the idea of the line as an hand drawn line to keep the human/hand made connection while the iphone bit suggests the use of technology and internet to raise awareness about important issues. And as a designer, even if the time frame was pretty short, I managed to experiment a few things I wanted to try for a long time.
