Cameroon president Paul Biya is visiting China to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Biya's three-day visit is set to boost trade and investment between the oil-rich West African country and energy-hungry China.

The Chinese regime has invested in Africa for energy resources to satisfy its growth. It has signed agreements on energy and infrastructure deals with Cameroon—including 62 million U.S. dollars on an oil exploration project.

Biya met his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao, and Premier Wen Jiabao. His visit wraps up on Saturday.
