You know there are many many ways that you can do this. Does not matter how many hours you work. I think, once again, the connecting, the listening, the taking that time to really be on path and get your child to understand their feelings. Get into their world and ask about some wonderful questions about what they like and what they don't like. And you can do that in a few minutes in night.

And there are lots of parents who stay home, who are busy and doing things in the kitchen and saying 'In a minute honey, I'll be there in a second', who were not actually doing that deep listening. So you can make the most of even the shortest amount of time time with your child.

The other technique that I think is really powerful, and this is for all parents whether you are working parent or not, is what I call Limbic Bonding, or baby play. That it does not really matter how old your child is, you just, like, look at them and say, 'Oh, you are delicious. I love you', and you tell them stories about when they were a baby, and you show them pictures of when they were little and you are going to get a little outfit that they wore. And they love it, first of all, even teenagers love it.

And get that bond to strengthen. And even if you have been away on a business trip or you have worked a week of very long hours, that time can be absolutely delicious and what a gift to them.
