During a consultation, a computer imaging system can help patients view their potential results. Septoplasty can help improve breathing by repairing the septum. It is important for patients to understand rhinoplasty risks, even when they are small and uncommon, such as a nosebleed. It is recommended that patients take it easy for approximately two weeks after their procedure. They will also wear a splint on the nose for about a week after surgery.
