I think you just need to really start with a pretty firm number and be able to divide up all the different components of it. I mean the main ones are obviously the venue along with the catering. So once you can figure out the pricing on those then you are able to really know how much money you have left for all those other little pieces like transportation and accommodations. And, you know obviously like other little decor pieces to make the wedding special.
