Elsewhere in Pakistan, gunmen killed four policemen and set fire to eight trucks near Pindi Gheb, about 80 miles east of the capital, Islamabad.
The trucks were transporting supplies to NATO forces in Afghanistan in Pakistan's eastern Punjab Province.
It was not immediately clear who had carried out the attack.
