Hey there, I'm Jace, and I'm here at The Fifth Estate in Park Slope, Brooklyn to teach you how to make one of Ernest Hemmingway's favorite drinks, and that would be the Hemmingway Daiquiri. First of, we're going to take our rocks glass and fill it with ice, and then we're going to start building our drink in our mixing glass. So firstly we're going to take 3/4th of an ounce of fresh squeezed Lime Juice, do that. Next is a spoonful of Grape Juice, we do that. Then take 3/4th an ounce of Simple Syrup, do that. And then next we're going to use this peculiar liqueur and this is luxardo, it's a Maraschino Liqueur. So then we go from here, and that's a quarter of an ounce. So we use this one, up that in here like that and then we finish it off with 2 ounces of Mount Gay Rum which is not a light rum, so do 2 ounces of that. Then take this glass, shake it a bunch to get real cold. Strain it over ice and garnish it with lime. And that would be your Hemmingway Daiquiri.
