How to install AtticFoil® Radiant Barrier Foil Insulation in a cathedral ceiling. Complete instructions at http://www.atticfoil.com/ This is one option to install a radiant barrier in a cathedral ceiling, vaulted ceiling or tray ceiling. You must have an air space on one side of the AtticFoil® brand radiant barrier foil insulation. This airspace is achieved by cutting foam into strips and applying to the underside of the deck. AtticFoil® is then put in between each rafter cavity. Then, insulation is added and then sheetrock or drywall is applied to the bottom of the rafters.
