Spring 2011 voyage participants add to their global education experience with a homestay in India. The host family operates a farm that has been handed down through the last 5 or 6 generations. Some crops on the farm such as nutmeg and mangoes aren't typical to the area, but daily life there is an open window into the culture and experiences of the Indian people.
