Gales Point is among the most remote villages in Belize. In direct opposition to conventional wisdom-which says it takes millions of dollars to solve a public problem, participants on Semester at Sea's 2011 Maymester teamed with the people of the village to put $100 to work and make a lasting difference to the village.
