Take a tour of Römerberg in Frankfurt, Germany – part of the World’s Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. Frankfurt, Germany is a city known for its great beauty and long, rich history. Centrally located in the Old Town is the Romerberg, a famous and historic public square. The Romerberg has been an important place since the 12th century, when trade fairs were held here. Tragically, the Old Town and its buildings were completely destroyed during the fighting in WWII. The current buildings have been remodeled from the houses that were once found here in the 15th and 16th centuries. One of the few surviving features is the Fountain of Justice, in the center, dating from 1543.
