DWTS champion Derek Hough Teaches At The Palms Las Vegas

Three-time Dancing With the Stars professional champion Derek Hough is spending a weekend away from dance floor studios in L.A. at George Maloof’s Palms. His fun-filled weekend started at dinner at Executive Chef Geno Bernardo’s Nove Italiano, where he signed the kitchen’s Shakedown Door before continuing to Moon, where he was host for the evening and was joined by Pittsburgh Steelers star Hines Ward, a contestant on DWTS’ new season kicking off this month.

Hough, in collaboration with the Clark County School District School-Community Partnership Program and Fine Arts Program, led a dance class for 15 students from CCSD middle and high schools in The Lounge at the Palms today. The 15 students performed a dance number to Lady Gaga’s new hit “Born This Way” and received personal instruction from Hough.
